A multi-organization burn team including the Karuk Tribe Department of Natural Resources Integrated Wildland Fire Program, the Mid Klamath Watershed Council Fire & Forestry Program, U.S. Forest Service, Salmon River Restoration Council and other partners will be implementing prescribed burns on private and public lands in the Mid Klamath region.

Support Restoration on the Klamath: An Evening of Music, Discussion, and Libations

Raise a Glass for the Klamath: Join the Mid Klamath Watershed Council’s “Libations for Donations" Event in Eureka

Eureka, CA - The Mid Klamath Watershed Council (MKWC) invites you to an evening of music, merriment, and support for watershed restoration efforts at “Libations for Donations” on Thursday, September 4th, from 6–9 PM at The Ballroom @ The Historic Eagle House in Eureka.

This fundraising event will feature live music by members of the local band Absynth Quartet, a decadent dessert auction, and a simple, fun way to support watershed restoration—$1 from every drink sold between 6 and 9 PM will be donated to MKWC.

Whether you’re passionate about environmental restoration or just looking for a great night out, Libations for Donations offers a chance to support critical work in the Mid Klamath region. Guests can also grab a bite next door at Phatsy Kline’s Parlor Lounge, making it an easy night out in Old Town.

Bigfoot Jamboree

The Mid Klamath Watershed Council will be setting up a booth at the 2025 Bigfoot Jamboree in Happy Camp at the River Park from 10 - 4PM this Saturday August 30th. We invite everyone to come out to this great event and stop by our booth to learn more about our programs, share stories, insights and ideas. This is a great community event and we are lucky to be a part of it this year, thanks to the organizers and community members who make this happen. See you there!
